A Step Towards Life is a Non-profit, Non-religious welfare organization catering to different social activities in India and Canada. It is established by a group of like minded people for the development of society. Its aim is to develop the Socio-economic, educational, health, community and environmental activities for the welfare and growth of rural and urban population, who find themselves in disadvantaged circumstances. The governing body members are people from different walks of life and have their individual capacities. They have held positions in government and business, where policy making, program conceptualization and program delivery and implementation for rural development is part of their responsibilities. We provide various services which include medical and health care for poor, spreading awareness programs, self employment programs, rehabilitation programs, education programs, senior citizens welfare, support and care to the orphans and safeguard of environment. We facilitate various economic development programs, meetings, seminars and awareness camps to improve the lifestyle of the orphans, women in need, senior citizen and the physically challenged. A project with a difference: organized for the promotion of the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological and spiritual development of our community. Mission A Step Towards Life’s mission is to work in humanitarian and compassionate level to relief poverty, immediate relief to victims of natural disasters or sudden catastrophes- provide facilities for their support, maintenance and rehabilitation of elderly, orphans, physically challenged, abused women, children and refugee. We are also dedicated to work with the communities and encourage them to preserve their Heritage and Culture.
